Parque Natural Monte Aloia - Spain - Gondomar
Situated on the southern border of the Sierra do Galiñeiro (Pontevedra), Monte Aloia Nature Park covers 746 hectares, and was the first Parque Natural created in Galicia (1978). It has also been declared a Nature Reserve of National Interest. Among its most attractive features are the panoramic views it offers of the Miño and Louro Valleys, as well as the large number of tree species there, both indigenous and exotic, and the granite landscapes.

Patara National Park - Turkey - Kaş
Patara was the major naval and trading port of Lycia, located at the mouth of the Xanthos River, until it silted up and turned into a malaria-plagued marsh. The site covers fragment of Littoral Marshes Plain (Rownina Blot Przymorskich) in the bifurcation of the Piasnica river and old river bed of Piasnica. Wet meadows and rush vegetation overgrow small part of the plain. Within the borders of the site old river beds of Piasnica surrounded by diverse mosaic of forest (mostly birch-oak forests) and non-forest vegetation are situated. Police-Kanaly refuge lies in West-Pomeranian voivodeship. It occupies area of 0.5 km² on Police commune. It has been taken under protection within Natura 2000 network because of the biggest habitats of bats in West Pomerania. Ghosts in the Ramsenhütte? It has been reported that  the main door of the hut opens at night despite having been closed several times. On the floor of the house a bluish rectangle appears several times. Back in the 18. century a herder died in the flames at the place the current Ramsenhütte has been built.
